Guessarium is a free game run by Guessarium LLC. Using it means you accept these terms. There are no accounts and no payments, so most of what follows is about what the game is and what it isn't.
What you can do with it
Play it, share your results, and use it in a classroom. Teachers are welcome to put it on a projector and run it with a class. You don't need permission and there's nothing to buy.
You may not scrape the site, run automated traffic against it, or resell access to it. The game costs real money to run per session, which is why there are rate limits.
About the history
Event write-ups are reviewed before publication under our editorial policy, and we take that seriously. We still don't guarantee that every fact is correct. This is a game and a reference aid, not a citable source. Don't use it as one for anything that matters, and check a real source before you teach from it.
The game itself
Guessarium is provided as is. We don't promise it will be available, that it will guess correctly, or that a feature here today will be here next month. Free play may be limited per day so one visitor can't exhaust the budget for everyone.
Content and trademarks
The Guessarium name, the mark, and the site's design belong to Guessarium LLC. Historical facts belong to nobody. Our particular wording of them is ours.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the page's updated date changes with them. We don't touch that date for anything else.
