Privacy

No names. No logins. No email addresses. No per-student tracking. A teacher generates a short room code that expires within hours, and that code identifies a room, never a student. We keep anonymous transcripts of the questions a room asked, which cannot be tied back to any individual because we never had anything to tie them to. This is a permanent commitment, not a current setting.

Your daily streak, your results, and whether you've seen the install prompt live in your browser's local storage. Clear your browser data and they're gone. We can't see them and we can't restore them.

When you play, the questions and answers of that session are stored so the game can keep track of the conversation and so we can measure how well it performs. A session record holds the questions asked, the chips you tapped, and timing and cost figures. It does not hold your name, your email, or an account, because none of those exist.

We keep short-lived counts tied to your network address to stop one visitor running up the bill for everyone. That's a counter with a timer on it, not a profile.

We use Plausible, which is privacy-focused, cookie-free, and doesn't track people across sites. It tells us how many visits a page got. It doesn't tell us who you are.

There are no ads on Guessarium today. If that ever changes, ads will never be served to a classroom session, or to any event page reached from one. That's a permanent rule, written into the build.

Classroom mode is built to be used by children, which is exactly why it asks for nothing. There is no account path for a student and there never will be. If a personal account option is added for adults playing at home, it will be kept away from the classroom entirely.
